Privacy notice

This notice explains how Creative Construction NI uses personal information when you contact us through this website or use our private office area.

Who we are

Creative Construction NI is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about privacy at info@creativeconstructionni.co.uk or write to Unit 5, 2 Ballynoe Road, Ballymote Upper, Downpatrick, BT30 8AG.

Information you give us

When you send a project enquiry, we collect your name, email address, preferred contact method and the telephone number you provide. We also collect the project location, service, stage, timescale, budget range, description and any plans or photographs you choose to attach.

Attachments are optional. Please include only information relevant to your project and avoid sending unnecessary personal information about other people.

For an authorised office account, we hold the account details needed to provide a private login. The office area records enquiries, their follow up status and the information needed to manage them.

Why we use your information

We use enquiry information to understand what you need, reply to you, discuss a quotation and take the steps you request before any building work is agreed. We save the enquiry and attachments in a private record and notify our office by email so that we can follow up.

We also use limited technical information to protect the form and office login from misuse. A short lived coded identifier derived from your network address helps limit repeated form submissions.

Our lawful basis

Where you ask us to discuss or prepare a quotation for your own project, we use the information needed to take those steps before entering into a contract with you. If work is agreed, information needed to carry out that agreement is used on the same contract basis.

For other correspondence and website security, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact the business, keeping an appropriate enquiry record and protecting our systems. We consider whether that use is necessary and balance it against your rights.

Submitting an enquiry does not sign you up for marketing emails.

Who can see your information

Enquiries and their attachments are available to authorised office staff through the private office area. Enquiry notifications go to our business email address.

Suppliers providing website hosting, email, backups or website maintenance may handle information on our behalf where needed to provide those services. They are not given permission to use your project enquiry for their own marketing.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiries and attachments for as long as needed to answer the request, prepare a quotation and deal with relevant follow up. If an enquiry becomes an agreed job, relevant information may form part of the job record. We consider the work involved, any ongoing questions and applicable record keeping requirements when deciding what needs to be retained.

Enquiry records that are no longer needed should be removed from the website and relevant office records. Temporary security records are removed during routine cleanup. They are separate from the enquiry record.

Cookies and website features

The form and private office area use essential security and login cookies where needed to provide the service you request. These support safe form submissions and keep authorised staff logged in. The website does not currently use advertising or analytics trackers.

The enquiry form security cookie, ccni_enquiry_session, lasts up to one day. Its signed form token expires after two hours. The office sign in security cookie, ccni_staff_csrf, also lasts up to one day. WordPress login cookies keep an authorised office session open and expire according to that session.

Our Facebook links open Facebook separately. Its own privacy and cookie policies apply when you visit that service.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it or request its deletion or restricted use. Where the right applies, you can also ask to receive information you provided in a portable format. The rights available depend on why we hold the information and the circumstances of your request.

Your right to object

You can object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests. Contact info@creativeconstructionni.co.uk and explain which use you want us to consider.

If you have a concern

Please contact us first so that we can look into your concern. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Visit the ICO complaints page for information about making a complaint.

We will update this notice if the way we handle website information changes. Last reviewed: 30 September 2026.
